These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Olfaire. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Olfaire, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these terms. If you are using Olfaire on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

Description of service

Olfaire is an AI-powered fragrance companion that provides personalised daily suggestions, layering analysis, collection management, and discovery features. Features are subject to change as the product evolves. We will communicate material changes via email or in-app notification.

User accounts & eligibility

You may sign in via Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at lumi@olfaire.app if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Olfaire to: reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; submit false, misleading, or harmful content; or violate any applicable law or regulation. Automated access via bots or scripts is prohibited without prior written consent.

Subscription & billing

Olfaire offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google and are subject to their respective payment terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. We do not process or store your payment card details. Refund requests are handled in accordance with Apple's or Google's refund policies.

Intellectual property

All content, software, design, and AI models comprising Olfaire are the property of Olfaire and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the data you enter — your collection, notes, and photos. You grant us a limited licence to use that data solely to operate and improve the service for you.

Disclaimers

Olfaire is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Fragrance suggestions are personalised recommendations, not guarantees. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Olfaire will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the Settings screen. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately and your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Olfaire evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Olfaire after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
